BSE weekly transit chart — 12 June 2023

(12 June 2023) Not a lot has changed in the BSE Sensex chart this week. The ongoing Saturn (13 Aquarius) alignment with the natal Moon (12 Virgo) is still a possible source of bearishness, especially as Saturn is slowing down ahead of its retrograde station on June 17. While this alignment is within effective range now, it may become more stronger and hence, more bearish only after its station.  Its full bearish impact is therefore more likely to occur near the time when Saturn transits 12 Aquarius in the coming weeks.

Jupiter is still well-placed in the 7th house opposite the Ascendant and should be seen as a source of positive sentiment for the Indian market. The Jupiter influence may wane somewhat as it transits through the sign of Aries. It may strengthen again when it aligns with Mercury and the Sun by 60-degree aspect. This bullish alignment will move into effective range later in July, however.

The nodes, Rahu and Ketu, are slowly approaching their alignments with the Ascendant, Venus and Saturn. The nodes are natural malefics, of course, and therefore carry with them some downside risk when they align closely with natal planets. The Ketu-Ascendant conjunction, for example, could be felt fairly soon. Since it is still three degrees from exact, however, its full manifestation may still lie ahead.
